Crystal Hwang

Crystal Hwang (born in 18.3.2006) composes and enjoys multiple instruments. She received her first Laureate at age 10 and was invited to perform in Carnegie Hall in New York City twice, in 2016 and 2020. She was a first prize winner in three International Piano competitions and was a Gold award winner in three music festivals. In 2017, she garnered the Best Romantic Award in an International Piano Competition. In 2018, she was invited to perform with cellist, Dale Henderson, from New York City and was selected to perform in Steinway’s rising stars concert. In 2022, she won second prize for an international piano duet competition and in the same year, her “Winter Calls” was one of the winning pieces in an International Young Composers Contest. She enjoys sharing her music and has performed in Singapore International Festival of Music Gala Concert, in the Arts House, National Gallery, Steinway Gallery, Esplanade Library, Esplanade Recital Hall, French and Japanese Embassy, Yong Siew Toh Music Conservatory, LASALLE College of the Arts, School of the Arts Singapore, and many of the outdoor pianos in Singapore. She was also involved in the Art of Healing – Music for Charity in a hospital.
